Why Read Weavingshaw (Book 1 in the Weavingsahw Trilogy)?
This book was AWESOME. Sooooo beautifully written while also building this super lush world that felt honest. Really interesting politics that smartly determine the dynamics of our characters.
There are a lot of really cool things going on and each of them is as interesting as the last and I just ate it up. There wasn’t a second I felt like I was trudging through this book.
What is Weavingshaw About?
Leena’s brother is dying and she’s tried everything to save him. Everything except reveal her secret to the Saint of Silence, a terrifying man with a cruel reputation who trades in secrets. To save her brother she decides she can tell him her biggest secret; that she can see ghosts. They enter a deal; she helps him find a specific ghost, and he’ll free her from her bargain. But it’s just, not as easy as it sounds.
