What is Midnight Gate – Book 1 in the Cursed of Veligrad series – About?
Nevena woke up on the cursed forest as a kid with no memory, & was therefore locked away — assumed to also be cursed. Because of this, her task was as mortician to those who have died due to the curse & battling it. But after over a decade, she wants more. So she escapes, & competes for a spot as a guard & the goal of freedom. But it becomes more of a challenge when Edric, the man who despises her for killing his brother, is at her side.
